Hey! I'm Connor Shomaker

 

I'll try anything once - which usually results in a highly addictive two month period where I dive into the deep end of whatever interest has my attention.


What that has given me is a handful of hobbies / interests that will always pull me outside... for the most part.

My Interests...

I grew up playing soccer - in fact, my first word was "ball." I love following local usl teams (Switchbacks & Indy11) as well as a kenyan team kahawa pride. You can reliably find me at the local sand volleyball courts!


There is nothing like sports in terms of blowing off steam

My Interests...

For the last 4 years now, I have spent a week in Nicaragua serving with NRN (Nicaragua Resource Network). They support local schools and churches by providing relationally-lead sponsorships, teaching high-skilled positions in the medical field, and providing jobs for many local nicaraguans.


There is no better organization than NRN when it comes to supporting Nicaraguans

My Interests...

Whether its video games or board games, I'm down. Rocket League is my competitive video game of choice, most others are good for unwinding. You also cannot go wrong with board games like Catan or Puerto Rico. and if that wasn't enough... I DM a Dungeons and Dragons group, too!


Really... anything with set "rules" and can be played for fun or competitively... I'm in
